Jo\u00e3o \u201cjohnnybravus\u201d<\/em> Ribeiro, started playing poker regularly around 2010\/2011 with some friends of his in high school. Initially, he knew a few rules from playing non-cash games. However, he deepened his knowledge over time. He evolved until he was able to join Team Cash in 2020.<\/p>

From NL10 to NL200: The rise in stakes <\/strong>\ud83d\ude80<\/strong><\/h2>

Jo\u00e3o's path at Polarize began in the NL10 stake and now he's taking his shot at NL200.\u00a0<\/p>

What are your goals for this year?<\/strong><\/h3>

\u201cMy goals for this year are to establish myself in NL200, maintain the volume I've been doing this year, increase the quality and quantity of study. Basically, to keep evolving professionally and personally!\u201d<\/p>

What do you think will be the biggest difference in this stake?<\/strong><\/h3>

\u201cThe difference is that I'm already going to catch a lot of good players who regularly play NL500 or even NL1000. It's already a very complicated stake that will demand the best of me every day, but in the end it's just another obstacle that I'll work to overcome.\u201d<\/p>

How would you describe your journey since joining the Polarize Poker team until now? What have been the main milestones and highlights?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>

\u201cMy path was not very stable. I had a difficult start because there was so much information coming in, so many new things to learn. I had to learn a lot as a poker player, both on and off the table. What's more, in the beginning, having a full time job took away a lot of daily energy and focus. Fortunately, I managed to overcome that and the last two years have gone very well and I only hope that the next ones will go even better. I also want to leave a thanks to my coaches on this journey (Vasco, Mendes and V\u00edtor)<\/strong>, <\/strong>to all Head Coaches<\/strong> and Polarize colleagues because if it wasn't for them I'd still be playing NL2.\u201d<\/p>

Jo\u00e3o faced moments of uncertainty and difficulties, especially at the beginning, when the volume of information and reconciling it with a full-time job required extra effort. However, with determination and the support of his team, he overcame these obstacles.<\/p>
