EPT Paris 2024 Main Event attracts 6th largest field in history
The Main Event of the European Poker Tour Paris 2024 attracted the 6th largest turnout in history. With 1,747 entries, it is the largest EPT held outside Barcelona. Attendance was up 9% on the previous year, confirming the French capital as a world-class poker hub.

The prize pool exceeded €8 million, with the top 255 positions sharing €8,385,600. The champion will walk away a millionaire, winning €1,287,800, while the players in 2nd to 9th place will take home six-figure prizes.
Day 2 saw the bubble burst inside the main tournament room at Le Palais des Congrès in Paris.
Spanish player Ignacio Molina was the last player to leave the table without a prize, leaving with pocket jacks against Eliot Hudon's queens.
Hudon, a native of Montréal, secured his first live cash prize on European soil. He also finished the session at the top of the leaderboard with 222 players.

Former EPT champions who made it through to Day 3 include Dimitar Danchev (415,000), Anton Wigg (343,000), Robin Ylitalo (329,000), Arsenii Karmatckii (305,000), Padraig O'Neill (290,000), Nicolas Dumont (87,000) and PokerStars ambassador Simon Wiciak (119,000).
Team PokerStars representative Benjamin Spragg also advanced to the next round after accumulating 138,000 chips, while PokerStars Championship Macau winner Elliot Smith advanced with 87,000 chips.
Action in the EPT Main Event returns on Thursday, February 22, at 12:00 CET, with blinds at 2,000/5,000. An average stack is currently worth 47 big blinds.
