Field Record! The FPS Paris Main Event has already attracted 2,262 competitors.
The Main Event of the France Poker Series Paris 2024€1,100, entered the record books, becoming the biggest FPS tournament in history.
The competition has already received 2,262 entries. With two more initial flights on the way, more milestones could be in sight.
It didn't take long for FPS Paris to break its own record, the event, which had stood at 1,606 registrations since last year, as hundreds of players flooded Le Palais des Congrès in Paris on Thursday.
The spectacular venue offers fantastic conditions for hosting large-field events, with more than 130 poker tables in operation during the EPT.
Both tournament rooms were busy on the second day of the festival, thanks to 1,208 players on the morning flight and a further 540 on the evening flight.

Registration for the FPS Paris Main Event so far:
- Day 1a: 347 entries, 52 players advance
- Day 1b: 167 entries, 25 players advance
- Day 1c: 1,208 entries, 181 players advance
- Day 1d: 540 entries, 80 players advance
Alexandre Correia emerged as the chip leader after Day 1c, having accumulated 895,000. Correia pulled away from Daisuke Ogita (675,000), who had been hanging around the top throughout the day. Alexandru Lupuleac pocketed the third largest stack, 672,000.
The PokerStars Ambassador Ramon Colillas was among the players who advanced. Although Colillas is below the tournament average with 114,000, the Spaniard has proven time and time again that he excels in big-field events.
The Day 1d propelled Matei Lupascu to a promising chip count of 736,000, putting him among the current leaders. Jon Vallinas (639,000) and Istvan Pilhofer (608,000) completed the top three in the evening flight.
Each phase continues until its field is reduced to the top 15% to guarantee at least a minimum prize for the players who advance.
Remaining days until the start of the FPS Main Event:
- Day 1e: February 16, from 11:00 CET (30-minute levels)
- Day 1f: February 16, from 18:00 CET (20-minute levels)
